More Food

The woman I am working most closely with this week has been feeding me.  LOL  Sincerely, I am grateful.  I probably wouldn't be trying some things if it weren't for her just because I don't know about them.  She was the one that gave me a starfruit.  Today, she shared Vietnamese sweetpotato which was fantastic.  If sweetpotatoes tasted like that at home, I would eat them far more often.  The skin was purple and the flesh was yellow.  This afternoon, she shared some cut up dragonfruit.  The rind is bright pink.  It tastes a little sweet and has a slight aftertaste that is somewhere between kiwi and grass.  It's not unpleasant.
